This Easter I went to the NaSTA (National Student Television Association) 2008 conference, which is a conference for student television stations in the UK. The highlight of the weekend was the awards ceremony where a show I had co-produced won the best live show award. It was a 4 hour live broadcast to celebrate York Student Television’s 40th birthday and raise money for Children In Need. I’m really pleased and totally shocked that it won! There’s even a story about it in the York Press.

Below is our Best Broadcaster entry, a compilation of the last year as YSTV, which I edited with a couple of other people. The entry didn’t win, but I’m still very proud of it and I think we managed to capture the fun of student television. Hope you enjoy it!
